Answers to the most frequently asked questions about the MIR Customs Card.
The Customs Card is a virtual bank card of MIR Payment System, designed exclusively to pay customs duties, fees, taxes and other charges for Customs Authority of Russian Federation. The Card makes it possible to settle payments 24/7 365 days a year via Personal Account of CP Retail without visiting bank or customs office.
Virtual card is a card without physical shape – plastic analogue. It exists only in electronic form in the banking and payment systems. There is no need to have a physical card to make payments: all operations are carried out via secured personal account on the website cpretail.ru with the use of Electronic Signature.
The Enhanced encrypted Electronic Signature is used for safe user identification in CP Retail Personal Account. This is a legal requirement of Russian Federation legislation system for legally significant financial transactions. You can get Enhanced Encrypted ES in any Accredited Certification Centre. The list of AC Centers is available on Digital Ministry of Russia site.
Replenishment of an account is carried out as a standard interbank transfer to a special account, opened in Mir Business Bank and linked to your Customs Card. You can use your Mir Business bank account via Internet-bank or visit any office of the bank. Transfers of other banks are available according to the account requisites.
You should enter cpretail.ru, the official website of CP retail payment system, for making customs payments. All of the operations of the Customs card are carried out via the website. You should enter Personal Account with your Enhanced Encrypted ES. Website of the bank is different from the website of the CP Retail: you should open a third-party resource for making payments.
In case of technical errors or problems with the payment, you need to: (1) check the account balance in the Internet Bank of Mir Business Bank; (2) contact the CP Retail support service by phone 8 800 101 888 0 (free, 24/7) or by e-mail cpretail@cpretail.ru; (3) if necessary, contact Client support section at Mir Business Bank.
No, you cannot. The Customs Card of Mir Business Bank is a specialized payment instrument and only to be used for paying the customs payments, fees, VAT for import and other charges collected by customs authorities of the Russian Federation. The use of the card to pay for other goods and services is not provided for by the terms of the Agreement.
Application processing typically takes 1-3 business days from the moment of the complete application package submission.
